Midnight Wave

This was an acrylic commission piece where the clients wanted minimal colour pallet to tie in with the industrial key tones of their hallway. The pallet was loosely based upon black metal and light wood structures with white wall tones. The inspiration was a dramatic seashore/coastal theme. The wave shows sand being swept up and the white froth spraying out in a dramatic close up. The energy created gives the viewer a real feeling of the sea at night.
