I love the sea, it's smell, the sound of waves coming into shore and the vast array of colours and tones. So my inspiration is drawn from different countries and parts of Britain that I love.
This piece needed to show the depth of the sea and the shallows. The lacing created different levels of sand, rocks, seaweed and the intricate pathways not normally seen. The white pearls for me represented low passing clouds. This piece now has a home in Hertfordshire, England.
